So it Begins...
It has been a month and a half since finishing my contract in Watson. I do miss my former students and the hamsters, but I have been loving the substitute life! I have been subbing in the high school and the Catholic elementary schools. I am loving the diversity and knowledge I gain with every classroom I walk into.
I was also lucky enough to go on a phenomenal trip to Fernie, BC with my dad, sister, nieces, and nephew. It was by far the best skiing I have ever had in my life! Gorgeous weather, great snow, and awesome company!
I also have been very busy redoing the flooring in my condo. The feeling of learning a new ability is extraordinary. Life long learning should be an active part in everyone's lives. Especially when you do it by yourself (according to my sister I've always been a self - taught learner).
This accomplishment gives me great motivation as I move onto my next step. I have just recently signed up for spring and summer classes at the University of Saskatchewan. The great news is that I will still be able to sub while I take them! After that I will be able to apply for my Masters in Educational Psychology in December,
It's going to be a long road ahead, but I'm going to hold on tight and enjoy every bump on the way there!
