Back at it...

Well, I had my first full day at my old stomping grounds in Watson. It started out the night before with Albie running a fever and Cody running off of three hours of sleep from a night shift. I was up every hour rocking and to top it off I got a migraine. Despite a rough night, my dog refusing to come back inside, forgetting my coffee and then DROPPING my new coffee in the hallway, I was still excited to get back at it. Thankfully, the students and staff at the Watson staff are extremely friendly. The students helped me clean up my spilled coffee and the staff let me have some of their coffee (Thankfully because after my night, I needed that coffee).

After the hectic start to the day, I had a wonderful day with grades 5/6 which was exactly what I used to teach when I worked in Watson a few years back. I am so thankful for the excellent staff and students at Watson School for making my transition back into the working world a smooth one. Also so thankful for Albie's father for taking great care of her while she was sick and away from her mom. I look forward to what the next few months bring and hopefully it goes a bit smoother.
