Today, while subbing grade three, we learned about the early lumberjacks. The students had previously watched some videos and had a wealth of knowledge. It was a great discussion! Apparently not just anyone could be a lumberjack. I asked them if I could be a lumberjack, most thought I was tough and courageous (qualities needed) enough. I told them there is no way I would survive. By the end of the lesson when they were supposed to draw lumberjacks in the early days, one student showed me this. She told it was me as a lumberjack. It's the little things.
